Harry Mahood

Harry Mahood is a native of Thompson, Manitoba, and brings over 20 years of coaching experience to the Amarillo Wranglers. This is Mahood’s second stint in Amarillo after serving as an assistant coach for the Bulls from 2012-2014 and helped the Bulls capture a Robertson Cup title in 2013. Most recently Mahood served as an assistant coach for the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League.

Mahood played four seasons as a forward in the WHL with 238 points in 202 career games from 1979-1983. He also played four seasons for TuS Geretsried in Germany and started his coaching career with TuS Geretsried in 1995 and was a consultant with the Phoenix Coyotes in 1998-99. Harry Mahood is the first head coach and general manager for the Amarillo Wranglers.
