Amarillo: The Wranglers have acquired forward CJ Zezima from the Northeast Generals in the NAHL entry draft’s 2022 6th round pick.

The NAHL rookie has accumulated 13 points in 26 games with the Generals. Zezima is a native of New Canaan, CT. The Wranglers are excited to add Zezima’s skill to the lineup.

“CJ will bring an important play-making ingredient that we have needed to be a more difficult team to contend with,” Wranglers GM and Head Coach Harry Mahood said.

The highly skilled Zezima will have an opportunity to grow and showcase his talent on the Wranglers roster with the chance to find a more prominent role on a team hit with injuries and illness.

” CJ is another player who fits our expansion team identity. CJ is a high skilled forward who needed an expanded role and opportunity to develop his game for college,” Mahood said.

Zezima presents a piece that the Wranglers can build on for this season and going forward into next year.

“As an ’02 birth year, Cj will be part of a group that will move forward with us next season,” Mahood said.

Cj Zezima brings his offense skill to the Wranglers, who have scored 89 goals this season, including 32 on the powerplay.

“We believe the fans will love watching his crafty play every game,” Mahood said.
