Amarillo, Tx: The Amarillo Wranglers have signed forward Connor McNaughton from the Nashville Jr Predators program. McNaughton will join the Wranglers for the 2022-23 season.

McNaughton is the latest tendered player as the Wranglers continue to build their roster for the second season. McNaughton has put up big numbers in various levels of play during the 2021-22 season.

In 18U AAA, Connor had 56 points in 54 games before joining the Jr Predators T1EHL 18U team. In 15 games with T1EHL, the South Carolina native has tallied 21 points. The productive forward is eager to join the NAHL.

“Playing junior hockey is something I have looked forward to doing,” McNaughton said.

After three seasons playing in Nashville, Connor is looking forward to joining the Wranglers organization and playing in Amarillo.

“I am glad to have a chance to do it in the NAHL and Amarillo, where there is a rich hockey history,” McNaughton said.

As the Wranglers continue to build a winning culture, Connor McNaughton boasts plenty of offensive talent but can also provide solid play at all ends of the ice.

“I am a 200-foot player who is reliable… I pride myself on scoring goals, but mire so one being able to play up and down a lineup,” McNaughton said.
