Amarillo, TX: The Amarillo Wranglers have announced the tender signing of Ryan Gingher for the 2022-23 season.

The forward from Dublin, OH, currently plays for the Ohio Blue Jackets AAA program, where he has compiled 64 points in 58 games this season.

” We are very excited to get Ryan. He is a player that plays very hard and has a great skill set around the net,” Director of Player Personnel Karlis Zirnis said.

The 17-year-old boasts high offensive skills with 26 goals on the season for the Blue Jackets AAA team. Gingher provides a physical aspect to the Wranglers for next season.

” He is not afraid to play in traffic and plays a heavy honest game,” Zirnis said.

Coaches Harry Mahood and Cody Gylling have spent the inaugural season building the Wranglers’ culture as young players have started to take notice of the program Amarillo is building.

“Getting to meet Coach Mahood and Coach Gylling was awesome. The Culture coach Mahood is building is exciting, and I can’t wait to be a part of it,” Ryan Gingher said.

After having a delayed start on building a roster last summer, the Wranglers prepare for a standard length offseason to build next season’s roster. They are excited about the type of player Gingher will become for Amarillo.

“Ryan fits in our culture… He is a great competitor and strides to get better every day with being a great teammate,” Zirnis said.
