Brit Brookes is entering his second season as General Manager of the West Texas Wranglers and will also serve as Associate Head Coach for the 2026–27 season. Prior to joining the Wranglers in his current role, Brit served as the Team Services Coach for the Amarillo Wranglers of the NAHL.
Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, Brit grew up playing hockey in West Texas and competed at the high school level for the Big Texan Bulls. He later continued his playing career in the NA3HL with the Louisiana Drillers and Long Beach Sharks.
Before making the transition to coaching junior hockey, Brit spent more than five years coaching youth hockey, where he focused on player development and helping young athletes grow both on and off the ice.
Brit brings a strong passion for player development, a deep connection to the Amarillo hockey community, and a commitment to building a successful and sustainable junior hockey program in West Texas.
