Amarillo, TX – The Wranglers have tendered forward Daniel Rassega of the Phoenix Coyotes U18 AAA team for the 2024-25 season.

Rassega, 17, stands at 5’11” and 174 lbs and currently has 3 goals and 2 assists in 6 games with the Phoenix Coyotes U18 AAA team this season. “Daniel is a fiery young player and was promoted to us by legendary Amarillo Hockey alum, Cody Gylling, who currently coaches Daniel with the Phoenix Coyotes U18 AAA team,” said Wranglers President of Hockey Operations and GM, Harry Mahood. “Daniel is a feisty forward on and off the puck and will fit into our culture and style of play.”

Gylling’s roots with the Wranglers organization are one of the reasons why Rassega decided to sign with Amarillo. “I chose to sign with the Wranglers because it sounds like a great program and Coach Cody Gylling was very enthusiastic about me signing there, so it just seemed like a good fit for me,” Rassega said. He is very excited to join the Wranglers claiming that “on a scale from 1-10, my excitement level is a 10/10.”

The Wranglers look forward to seeing Daniel Rassega hit the ice and light the lamp at the Budweiser Bull Pen in Wranglers red, white, and blue next season.
